With Him it's Possible!

Genesis 1:1  In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

God created the heaven and the earth. We must have faith in this first scripture of the Bible, if not we cannot have faith in the rest.

Hebrews 11:3  Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

And without faith it is impossible to please God. And knowing that God created everything should give us even more confidence that he is able to do anything. We don't have any problem too big for our God, we don't have any situation that is beyond his help.

If God could speak and create Heaven and Earth, I know he could speak and change any circumstance and heal anybody.

Matthew 8:5  And when Jesus was entered into Capernaum, there came unto him a centurion, beseeching him,
Matthew 8:6  And saying, Lord, my servant lieth at home sick of the palsy, grievously tormented.
Matthew 8:7  And Jesus saith unto him, I will come and heal him.
Matthew 8:8  The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed.

This centurion understood that all Jesus had to do was speak the word, he knew the authority of that word would heal his servant.

Matthew 8:13  And Jesus said unto the centurion, Go thy way; and as thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee. And his servant was healed in the selfsame hour.

He received his miracle, because he believed that he was able to speak the word and heal. And that's just what Jesus did for him.

Hebrews 11:6  But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

He is a rewarder to those that seek him, because they are the ones with faith, just like that centurion. If God can speak the heaven and earth in to existence then all I need is for him to speak in to my life, for the miraculous to happen.

It may seem IMPOSSIBLE, but with HIM, it becomes HIMPOSSIBLE!

Matthew 19:26  But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.

His Seed is Blessed!

Proverbs 10:3  The LORD will not suffer the soul of the righteous to famish:

God will never let those that follow him suffer from hunger. As long as we hear the voice of God and obey it, he will supply us food both naturally and spiritually. My God shall supply all your needs according to his riches in glory. Be sure that as long as you stay faithful to God you will never lack for your needs, he has a way of supplying. When the whole world shuns you, and looks down on you, remember as long as God is for you that's all that really matters. He:

  • Supplied the children of Israel with food and water after their exodus from Egypt.
  • Fed the prophet by a woman with only a little food remaining, then supplied for the obedient woman.
  • Fed five thousand not counting women and children when they followed him and heard him teach.
I am sure he can always supply for me and you. God is not affected by the economy, never has been and never will be. He is not affected by what I lack, rather he can help make up for it. I'm just convinced that the word of God is true. I've seen time after time in my own life that God has took nothing and made it into something, but that only happens when we are faithful.

Matthew 6:33  But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

It just works. When we are faithful, work hard, and are good stewards then everything works. You see often where we go wrong is in our own responsibilities, that is that we must be faithful and be wise stewards. To seek first the kingdom of God we must first be born again of water and spirit then we must be faithful with our time, our fiances,  and our entire lives. Then God blesses us, and then once again it is up to us how we handle those blessings. You'd be surprised what you can do with so little with God as your guide. See we don't:

  • Need new clothes every few weeks, and shopping trips constantly
  • Need the finest restaurants every other day
  • Need trips here and there constantly
  • Need a lot of things that we think we do need.
God never promised us our wants, but he did promise our needs to be met (to the faithful). But what happens when God supplies what we need for our needs, yet we turn around and use it for all our wants. Is God then at fault for us not having our needs? Not at all!  This is why we must be good and wise stewards, because we don't know what tomorrow holds.

Philippians 4:19  But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

So just remember even in these uncertain times as they are for everyone that God will never leave us nor forsake us. As long as we do all we can, and obey him no matter what, we will be OK!

Psalms 78:19  Yea, they spake against God; they said, Can God furnish a table in the wilderness?

Let's never question God, cause we know he can. The question is CAN I DO WHAT I MUST DO?
The question isn't, "Will the faithful be blessed?" Rather the question is "Will we be faithful?"
BECAUSE THE FAITHFUL WILL ALWAYS BE BLESSED!

Psalms 37:25  I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.
Psalms 37:26  He is ever merciful, and lendeth; and his seed is blessed.
Psalms 37:27  Depart from evil, and do good; and dwell for evermore.

God is good!

Psalms 86:5  For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee.

He is a good God! Its that simple. Sometimes we should just praise him for how good he is. He is so good that:

  • He gave us a chance for a new life
  • Gave us a chance to live forever
  • Shed his blood so we could have remission
  • Allowed us to live
  • Speaking for myself, he has healed my body, he took stripes (while in the flesh) for that
I'm talking about a GOOD GOD! He aint ever done me nothing, nothing but good!

Baptized in his name, filled with his spirit, and given a church and pastor to exhort, reprove, and help me. Allowed me into the ministry, so unworthy, my hope come true. Allowed me out of billions in the world to know truth and obey it! He is sooooo goooood!

Oneness of God

Deuteronomy 6:4  Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD:

There is one God. Not three, not four, not two. Jesus is the one true God with all power!

There is not a God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost.

There is God the father, the Son of God, and the Holy Ghost (which is God's spirit).

For you see God is a Spirit. (John 4:24) And he was manifested or clearly seen in the flesh. (1 Timothy 3:16). And that spirit that was dwelling in Christ can also dwell in us. (Romans 8:11)

The flesh was not God, God was not born of a woman, the flesh was. But God sent forth his son made of a woman, that son was flesh, that son was the express image of an invisible God.

For there to be more than one God in the new testament would contradict the old testament, therefore it would violate the word of God. But that is not the case. Truth is:

There is only ONE GOD, and his name is JESUS!

Isaiah 43:11 lets us know that besides him there is no Savior. And Matthew 1:23 lets us know that Jesus Christ was God with us! For you see it was God (the eternal, all knowing spirit) in Christ (the man, the flesh) reconciling the world back unto himself. (2 Corinthians 5:19)

You see that's why Jesus was able to say that he had come in his father's name, and that the Holy Ghost would be sent in his name. There is only one saving name, and the enemy knows that, and doesn't want you to believe in the name. Nor does he want you to be baptized in that name, for the devil knows that in that name is the remission of sins by the blood of Jesus Christ.

You see before the foundation of the world the Lord knew he would need a lamb without blemish. (Revelation 13:8) And he created man in the image which he knew he would take on it order to redeem man. (Genesis 1:26-28) God created us in his image, the same image he would take on to redeem us. This plan was in the mind of God in the very beginning (John 1:1) and was manifested in Christ (John 1:14). So this is why God needed a body, but that body was flesh. And the spirit that dwelt in that body was God, all the fullness of the Godhead (notice it didn't say part of the godhead or one third of the godhead, it said all of the Godhead dwelt in him, Colossians 2:9)  Truly it was God in Christ as the Bible lets us know.

You see the Bible only preaches and teaches one God. Here are just a few more scriptures to let you know there is only one God, no explanation of the word needed:

James 2:19  Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.

Jude 1:25  To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and evermore. Amen.
(If there is another God he is neither wise nor our Saviour, there is but one all knowing and saving God!)

John 10:30  I and my Father are one.

Ephesians 4:4  There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;
Ephesians 4:5  One Lord, one faith, one baptism,
Ephesians 4:6  One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

Revelation 1:8  I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.

1John 5:7  For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.

1 Corinthians 12:13  For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.

There is only one God, and one saving name: That name is JESUS. This is why baptizing in the titles of the father, son, and holy ghost will not save anyone. It takes the name. And that name is JESUS! He said baptize in the name, and said remission was in that name, then opened their understanding. We must have understanding that the name is Jesus and we must be baptized in that name!

Coming soon: blog on remission and baptism in the name!

John 8:24  I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.

Priceless

Job 28:12  But where shall wisdom be found? and where is the place of understanding?
Job 28:13  Man knoweth not the price thereof; neither is it found in the land of the living.
Job 28:14  The depth saith, It is not in me: and the sea saith, It is not with me.
Job 28:15  It cannot be gotten for gold, neither shall silver be weighed for the price thereof.
Job 28:16  It cannot be valued with the gold of Ophir, with the precious onyx, or the sapphire.
Job 28:17  The gold and the crystal cannot equal it: and the exchange of it shall not be for jewels of fine gold.
Job 28:18  No mention shall be made of coral, or of pearls: for the price of wisdom is above rubies.
Job 28:19  The topaz of Ethiopia shall not equal it, neither shall it be valued with pure gold.

Having the blessings of God in our lives is priceless.

Hearing well done thou good and faithful servant is priceless.

Having all things working together for your good is priceless.

The blood is priceless.

The truth is priceless.

Having a preacher that preaches truth is priceless.

Having God on your side is priceless.

You can't put a price tag on eternal life!

Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field.  (Matthew 13:44)

Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls:  (Matthew 13:45)

Who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it.  (Matthew 13:46)

Whatever it cost, be willing to pay the price to please God!

Matthew 19:27  Then answered Peter and said unto him, Behold, we have forsaken all, and followed thee; what shall we have therefore?
Matthew 19:28  And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
Matthew 19:29  And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name's sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life.
Matthew19:30  But many that are first shall be last; and the last shall be first.

That is priceless!!!!

No room for compromise

Mark11:27  And they come again to Jerusalem: and as he was walking in the temple, there come to him the chief priests, and the scribes, and the elders,
Mark 11:28  And say unto him, By what authority doest thou these things? and who gave thee this authority to do these things?
Mark 11:29  And Jesus answered and said unto them, I will also ask of you one question, and answer me, and I will tell you by what authority I do these things.
Mark 11:30  The baptism of John, was it from heaven, or of men? answer me.
Mark 11:31  And they reasoned with themselves, saying, If we shall say, From heaven; he will say, Why then did ye not believe him?
Mark 11:32  But if we shall say, Of men; they feared the people: for all men counted John, that he was a prophet indeed.
Mark 11:33  And they answered and said unto Jesus, We cannot tell. And Jesus answering saith unto them, Neither do I tell you by what authority I do these things.

They could not tell. They always seemed to be in a place of compromise.

WE MUST KNOW! And you can be assured that the word of God is not of man, but it was written by Holy men of old as they were moved by the Holy Ghost!

We must know what truth is, we cant attempt to please men. We must please God! We cant compromise and always take the middle ground. We must know that what we believe is of God!
